Cherie Payne brings 15 years experience in health policy and advocacy communications, honed in government, private sector and public interest organisations on three different continents.
She served as Legislative Assistant to the federal Minister of Health, as account director with a leading global public affairs firm, as advisor to the Medecins Sans Frontieres Campaign for Access to Essential Medicines, on the Boards of Directors of the AIDS Committee of Ottawa and the Registered Nurses Association of British Columbia, and as a political advisor on election campaigns at the municipal, provincial, and federal levels.
A graduate of McGill University and of Osgoode Hall Law School, Cherie has led advocacy campaigns at the national government, multi-lateral institution, and community stakeholder levels and has developed speeches, media releases, web reports and detailed white papers for each.
